Managing Director at Santorini Financial Planning

About Me

“I get to wake up everyday to do something I love. I get to inspire people to do the things that inspire them. It’s the most wonderful thing in the world. In fact the best part is trying to figure out all the ways that I can do that. It’s amazing.” - Matthew Walne - The Personal Finance Director™Santorini Financial Planning.

I serve my clients, who are business owners, typically in their mid-fifties.

•To show my clients what is really possible in their lives•And then to help them to structure their finances, that dreams become reality much sooner and ensure they have enough money so they never run out.

I find that most clients I deal with want to know what they need to save, earn and/or sell their business for to become financially independent (so work becomes a choice).

People come to me because they are stressed, worried about the future and aware of their own mortality. They need to know that they won’t run out of money in their lifetimes. They don’t want to outlive their capital and income. They need to know they (and their family) will not run out of money no matter what happens. They seek peace of mind, which is why they turn to me for help, that's what I do best.

I'm in an elite group of financial planners in the UK as was the 100th to be accredited with BS ISO 22222.2005 the international quality standard for personal financial planners. My business, Santorini Financial Planning, is also only the 10th firm in the UK to achieve BS 8577.
